I haven’t seen Avis in I’m almost 50 years but I still remember her sweet disposition and her smiling face. She was one of those happy Mabelvale school yard kids who still remain in my memories of happy times.
Avis and Ann Harris Autry were the first two close friends that I had when I moved to Mabelvale my junior year. We spent a lot of time together between school, at each other's houses and church. They were both in mine and Kenny's wedding in 1971. I have a lot of good memories from back in the day. Your struggles on this earth are over...rest in peace!
